How it works

Built for kitchen-table Commander nights: a simple EDH stats tracker to log games fast, share leaderboards, and revisit your playgroup's story after the league.

  1. Open your group link

    Enter the group name your host shared. Anyone with the link can view stats right away. Sign in with a magic link (no password) when you want to log games or manage the roster.

  2. Set up your playgroup

    Create a new group in seconds, or join one you were invited to. Add players to the roster, send email invites for editors, or let new names appear automatically when someone logs a match. Your friends don’t all need accounts. Only people who log or invite do.

  3. Log a match

    Record winners, pilots, commanders, and optional notes after the game. Elo shifts update automatically. Designed to stay out of your way so you spend more time playing and less time on your phone. Commander pods, ties, and multi-player formats supported.

  4. View and share your stats

    Leaderboards for commanders and players, match history, session recaps, and insights like rivalries and top decks. Export your group as JSON or CSV. Whether you’re tuning decks or settling table talk for the night, the numbers are right there.

What is Magic Friendz?

Magic Friendz is a free web app for Magic: The Gathering Commander playgroups. It tracks playgroup Elo, win rates, deck lists, match history, and playgroup insights. Rankings reflect your table's games, not a worldwide ladder.

How is this different from apps with global Elo?

Many trackers rank decks or players across everyone using the app. Magic Friendz is built for your Commander pod: each group has its own match history, leaderboards, and Elo. That means ratings reflect your playgroup's power level and meta (the decks you actually play against), not strangers on a global leaderboard.

How do group links work?

Your host shares a URL like https://edhstatstracker.xyz/?group=myplaygroup. Anyone with the link can view stats immediately. Sign in with a magic link when you want to log matches or manage the roster.

Do I need an account?

No account is needed to view stats. To log games, invite players, or edit decks, sign in with your email. We send a magic link. No password required.
